A HEALING THAT IS KILLING

SYNOPSIS
S’mores is a short film that follows the devastating killing of their friend Lilith's brutal murder at the hands of an elusive serial killer.

Lola and Prim flee the town's growing panic for a therapeutic camping retreat in the woods. As darkness falls and they gather around the campfire making s'mores—a tradition they once shared with Lilith—they can't shake the unsettling feeling of being watched from the shadows.

Despite their growing unease, they try to dismiss their fears as grief-induced paranoia, desperately clinging to this moment of peace while unknown eyes track their every move from the darkness beyond the firelight.

WHY THIS FILM
S’mores uses psychological horror to explore the lingering weight of grief and how loss distorts our sense of safety and reality. Through Lola and Prim, the film centers on girlhood, intimacy, and the comedic, yet fragile, ways we try to cope after trauma. The unseen presence in the woods mirrors how grief haunts: quiet, constant, and inescapable. This story exists to blur the line between paranoia and reality, asking what it means to feel unsafe even in moments meant for healing.
